Today, Firefox is attempting a World-Record number of downloads in a single day.
Posted by Jake at Tuesday, June 17, 2008Firefox rules. I have the Release Candidate version of Firefox 3 on all my computers. It really is that good. Unfortunately, in attempting to get the absolutely final version of Firefox 3, I discovered their site is not working right now. Keep trying.
On the one hand, this is likely because so many people are wanting to help with the goal of breaking the World's record for downloads in a day. On the other hand, you would think they would have been a little more prepared for this.
UPDATE:
The site is working! They are currently at 1,809,494 downloads. Impressive.
