List of problems solved by MacGyver and how he did it. This is an episode-by-episode breakdown of all the impossible things MacGyver accomplished in 5 seasons of television perfection. Also, it discusses a handful of MacGyverisms as duplicated by Mythbusters.
Some of my Favorites:
- Uses a pocketknife to disarm the self-destruct mechanism of a downed satellite. He then uses pieces of the satellite to create a hang glider - "To Be A Man" (1x17).
- Creates an incubator for eagle eggs (MacGyver <3 Nature!) with padding from a chair and vegetable oil. He says that "the oil combines with the fibers in the padding to create a low level spontaneous combustion," generating heat - "Eagles" (2x08).
- MacGyver uses a pulley system fashioned from torn fabric, baling wire, and toy car wheels to assist a small dog in crossing a busy road - "Second Chance" (5x05).
- In the final episode, MacGyver escapes from a dreamlike near-death experience; he envisions the Egyptian god of the afterlife (Anubis) locks him in the engine room of a passenger boat. MacGyver escapes by connecting a firehose between the driveshaft of the engine and the escape hatch, with the engine pulling the hose tighter until the hatch breaks. He even escaped death using a MacGyverism!

Someone out there is going to get fired from playing this game too much. Instead of traveling between pre-created walls, in this version you have to build your own walls as the ghosts are bouncing all around you. If they touch a wall before you have finished building it, it will kill you! The goal is to fill 80% of the screen with walls. Easy to get a hang of, and really fun to play, you must try this game!

A storm drain overflows onto the highway. Actually doesn't just overflow - A 100-foot geyser erupts from what is supposed to be a drain for removing water from the highway. Obscured by the geyser, a 6-foot wide manhole cover is flung into the air and lands on the hood of a passing pickup truck. After the geyser diminishes we see the truck and its unharmed driver, inspecting the damage. The main reaction to this video when I have shown it to friends is usually a four-letter word. Must see.

This will make you sick. Three geometric grids, overlayed and moving in different directions relative to one another. Just in case you can't make it to the State Fair to get motion sickness this year.
