WARNING: AUDIO IS NSFW. A cop's car didn't quite make it into 'Park' and starts rolling away as the cop is talking with the person he pulled over. The cruiser's dashcam gets a perfect shot of the cops initial reaction as well as him chasing after the car, cursing, as the car gains speed. No one is hurt, fyi.

Slow-motion video of people getting punched - usually while distracted. Smoking, drinking water, blowing bubbles, or talking on a cell phone; they never see it coming. Which is funny, because the guy punching them is slow as hell about getting there. My favorite is the smoking guy getting punched in the jaw and the smoke that puffs out of his mouth after he gets hit. Also, the guy with the water bottle whose head gets punched away, but the bottle stays in the same place, pouring out all over him.

I would seriously not post this if I thought the squirrels were actually getting hurt from this. Enjoy.

No. It's not how it sounds. This site is mostly recommended because of the ridiculous but memorable name, but this is actually a site about inflatable toy balls for the enrichment of horses. There is a video (with "really cool" music) of horses playing with these balls, which are basically an inflatable ball with a small handle on it. The horses remind me of my dogs cheerfully playing with rawhide bones or other chew toys, so it's worth seeing if you like animals.

These gymnastics clips, in the wake of the Olympics, have become very popular all over the web in the last 2 weeks. These are clips from the 80s of Paul Hunt performing comedic gymnastics routines as 'Paula'. It's a dude in a unitard, acting like a girl as he does flips and handstands and the splits, and whatever it is one does on the uneven bars. Think of it as being The Globetrotters of Gymnastics - despite being a comedy bit, his routine is still very impressive. I know Paul has ties to the Utah gymnastics team, although I'm not sure if he is still at the 'U'. One of these clips is clearly filmed in the Huntsman center.

Snickers commercials from England starring Mr. T. In them, T extols the virtues of being manly with the catchphrase 'Get some nuts' and by deriding guys he perceives as wimpy - guys who fake being fouled in soccer, or a speed walker guy (played by Kirby Heyborne...that blond guy in every freaking local film made from 2000 to 2006). That one is the better of the two, mostly because Mr T shoots Snickers out of a hand-cranked Gatling gun at Kirby.

-Nathan Fillion as his nemesis, the vacuous superhero 'Captain Hammer' (Also known from Whedon's Firefly and Serenity)
-Felicia Day as Penny, Dr. Horrible's love interest (She's cute, been in some movies, but has gained a lot of fame from the very good web series she writes and stars in called 'The Guild'.

What is Dr. Horrible willing to do for acceptance into 'The Evil Order of Evil'? Although not outright evil himself, per se, he sees problems in the world around him and has decided a more hands-on approach is the answer: Fixing the world himself by taking over.

While attempting to steal a part he needs for his time-freezing ray, Dr. Horrible inadvertently introduces his secret crush, Penny, to his nemesis, the arrogant superhero Captain Hammer. Now Dr. Horrible must stop the two of them from growing closer, while trying to impress 'Bad Horse', the head of 'The Evil Order of Evil'. We get to know Dr. Horrible's roommate/sidekick named Moist (he's just really sweaty, as far as I can tell), and we get to explore the consequences of a super-criminal broadcasting his evil intents on a video blog. Also, there's a lot of singing.

This is starting as free, but has recently moved to iTunes, and will probably be exclusive iTunes content for a while before the DVD is released.

Good super-hero lines:

Dr. Horrible's site

I think it has occurred to most people that movie openings, just like movie previews, are an art unto themselves, and occasionally can be more enjoyable than the films they precede: 'Art of the Title' is a site dedicated to the best Title Sequences of films, television shows and event videos. Moderate commentary, but mostly an easy way to view great openings. Catch me if you can, Se7en, Stranger Than Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and my personal favorite, Once Upon a Time in the West are some of the Title Sequences they go over. If you're not interested in watching movie openings for the sake of the open, this is at least an interesting way to find new movies to watch.

I just doubt that any girl, no matter how clearly talented, would ever do this in her underwear - let alone with her boyfriend sitting on the couch behind her - let alone a boyfriend so untrustworthy that he posts a video of it on the internet!!

I can't imagine she would be doing this so seriously, without looking back at her boyfriend mischievously.

The dramatic squirrel, the ultimate light-saber battle, the 'Numa Numa' guy, the crying Britney fan, the Diet Coke and Mentos guys, the 'history of dance' guy, the beauty contestant who knows a lot about maps, even the blend-tech blender makes an appearance. Best parts: Light-Saber drumsticks and Rivers Cuomo giving the Britney fan a hug. Worst part: Rivers Cuomo sporting a mustache.

Pork and Beans

A recut trailer for 'The Ten Commandments' that makes it look like a teen romantic comedy. Moses is the new kid in school who decides to stand up to Rameses, the big man on campus. Excellent use of music, voice over acting, and movie-trailer speak. Extra points for casting Samuel L. Jackson as 'Principal Firebush'.

WARNING: Principal Firebush uses a four-letter expletive that starts with the letter 'F'.

This is a strange stop-motion film following illustrations on walls. Although it is not 'tagger style', this film is the pinnacle of graffiti art. The animator would spray paint an object on a wall, film it, then cover up the previous object with white paint and create the next image in his animation. Very organic, which makes it all the more brilliant. It is very strange, showing humanoid creatures with 6 legs, or new creatures growing out of a spine on the ground.

The coolest Mario level ever. Someone has modified the code from Super Mario World (SNES) and created an 11 minute 'Automatic Mario' level – all Mario does is enter the level, and he is bounced around the board like a perfect game of pinball, never needing a player to touch the controller, and never dying. 'Automatic Mario' has been done for a while, but this one goes one step further and utilizes the in-game sounds to mimic the background music the creator has chosen.

At the very least, you can appreciate how people in Japan have way too much time on their hands: it took this guy six months to create this.

NBC and News Corporation (Fox) have joined forces to bring the world Hulu.com - an unlikely name to stir such feelings of appreciation.
Strange name or no, the site is getting it right. The main shows I use it for are The Office and 30 Rock - all of the new episodes are available the day after they originally air (which happens to work better for my schedule, anyway).
Quality shows, when I want them, for free. The two main things that has taken me away from regular broadcast TV are the strict timeframe and the commercials. Hulu has regular TV beat on both fronts. I don't mind commercials, per se, but the current overabundance of commercials on TV are squeezing out the entertainment like so many weeds choking out my lawn (that last metaphor is all too close to home, sadly). Granted, there is a little bit of advertisement on Hulu, but it is manageable - it almost makes me want to give the advertisers my business.

Several story lines viewed from a distance. The entire story is visual, and you can't hear any of the conversations people are carrying on.

The initial location shows an entire apartment building, with probably a dozen story lines unfolding in different apartments at the same time – sometimes the separate stories flow into one another. How many story lines can you follow at once?

After the first location, there are several other addresses you can spy on.

Not all plot lines are 100% work safe, and although I would not label it 'adult entertainment', you may want to watch this before deciding if it's appropriate for your kids.
