This FireFox add-on forwards your IP address through a proxy server that is behind China's censorship: The Chinese Government literally sees your web browsing as taking place on a computer in China, and filters your traffic accordingly. If you go to a site they don't approve of, your internet connection will be blocked for 15 minutes. Fortunately, you can quickly and easily go back to your normal way of browsing to continue what you were doing.

Firefox rules. I have the Release Candidate version of Firefox 3 on all my computers. It really is that good. Unfortunately, in attempting to get the absolutely final version of Firefox 3, I discovered their site is not working right now. Keep trying.

On the one hand, this is likely because so many people are wanting to help with the goal of breaking the World's record for downloads in a day. On the other hand, you would think they would have been a little more prepared for this.

UPDATE:
The site is working! They are currently at 1,809,494 downloads. Impressive.

AdBlock plus kicks!
I disabled AdBlock plus for a screenshot I needed, and was astounded at web sites that never had ads were suddenly ugly, overwrought sites.
This is only one of many reasons why FireFox is superior to all comers - AdBlock plus makes the web a prettier place.

PermaTabs sets any web site of your choice as a permanent tab so you will not close it by accident, with the tab launching automatically when you start Firefox. A
simple key command (Alt+P) toggles the tab as 'PermaTab' or not.
